MyBandStaff Scholarship Opportunity
MyBandStaff.com will be giving away one scholarship award to a program of the Music and Band related activities. It is a responsibility to help our talent to continue their education by providing support to programs that need help achieving their current goals and vision.
Qualified programs must be in operation during this 2010/11 Winter season.
3 Easy Steps
Step1 – Register your organization with MyBandStaff.com. Your organization profile must be complete. After you register, log into your account. Click on Organization profile located in the Employer panel. Complete this form and submit.
Step 2 - Show off your program by a short video to You-Tube. Use this to explain why you are the most qualified program to receive a scholarship. You should mention your programs commitment and aptitude for the activity you are involved in and what characteristics you have that would be great to invest in.Show us what you can do and don’t forget to show off your personality. (Remember your video URL location.)
Step 3 – Send an email to info@mybandstaff.com by the 15th of December. Your URL location of the video must be included with the name of your program and contact information. Include a picture and couple brief descriptive sentences about your program. The You-Tube video location must also be included. The subject of your email should read “MBS_Scholarship Application_Your Program Name” This email is your application. It will be disqualified if your organization is not registered.
Finalist will be posted in the blog section with picture and essay with link to video on the 3rdst of January. At this point, finalists are judged based on how many comments you receive from the network. Viewers are able to leave as manycomments on your listing in the blog from January 3st- 17th. Voters may leave as many comments as they choose. So make sure that you tell all of your instructors, friends, and family to vote for you. Market your program using tools such as Linked-In, Facebook, or any other social networking sites. The applicant with the most comments wins $500 and will be awarded directly to the program.
